Dubai, UAE, 6th Dec 2017: Leminar Air Conditioning Industries, the leader in quality HVAC ductwork manufacturing in the region, won the prestigious Manufacturer of the Year – Fire Safety title at the Climate Control Awards 2017 held on 27 November in Dubai, UAE.
Leminar Air Conditioning Industries’ strict compliance with the latest UAE Fire Code and local Civil Defense requirements as well as its impeccable track record of not having a single performance failure to report since 2006 has been a decisive factor in it winning this award.
In 2016-17, Leminar commissioned the expansion of its existing facility for the exclusive manufacturing of motorized smoke and fire dampers. It also invested millions of dirhams for the research and development of new products as well as fire testing of its Flame Safe non-coated type fire rated ducts and FFC UK-make coated type fire rated ducts.
Moreover, in line with the UAE Vision 2021, the manufacturer invested in the development of a wastewater treatment plant and in the implementation of a lean manufacturing process focussed on reducing waste. All these strategic measures contributed to Leminar being singled out for this award.
Other companies that were shortlisted in the category were CVS, KAD Air Conditioning and Trox Middle East.
